This is the story of a guy in his garage with two other colleagues... well, almost.
Ok, it wasn't really a garage. In fact, it was well past 8:30 PM, and there I was, sitting with Jean, surrounded by scribbled-on whiteboards and half-empty coffee mugs, deep into a brainstorming session on how to revolutionize the Data and AI strategy for Bpifrance. We were thinking: "How do we avoid making the same mistakes as others and come up with a method that truly works?" A method that was almost mathematical to guide this digital transformation. After a few hours of juggling brilliant ideas and fatigue, a lightbulb went off: the 9 pillars.

But that was just the beginning. I looked at Jean and said, "Jean, we've got something here, but we need more. We need a heavy hitter." That's when Nouamane came into the picture.

Without hesitating, I pulled out my phone. It was late, but I decided to try my luck anyway. I gave Nouamane a call and said: "Nouamane, I’ve got a crazy idea. I want to write a book, and for that, I need the best CIO around." Silence on the other end. Then, in a calm yet determined voice, he said, "I’m in." Fifteen minutes later, Nouamane was on his scooter, crossing the city to meet us. I still laugh when I remember his triumphant arrival, helmet in hand, ready to conquer the world with us—or at least write a few chapters.

But the adventure didn’t stop there. We then developed a curious habit. For about ten Sunday mornings, starting at 8:30 AM sharp, we religiously gathered around the statue of Winston Churchill at the Étoile. Why there? Who knows... Maybe Churchill's spirit inspired us, or maybe it was just the perfect excuse to open the nearby restaurant and make sure we got our Sunday breakfast before diving into another brainstorming session. It became almost a ritual: croissants, steaming coffee, and animated discussions on the best way to build these 9 pillars.

It was there, between croissants and a few liters of coffee, that the idea really solidified. Each Sunday morning gave us a chance to dig a little deeper, refine the method, and make sure what we were proposing held up. By the end of each session, we left with new ideas, ready to tackle the next week with even more enthusiasm.
